Working closely with the CIO and CRO you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Develop and maintain the data capture, quality and reporting strategy for Vestone Capital
- Take ownership of the data lifecycle working with different business units
- With support from the CIO, CTO and respective teams you will diving into data to extract actionable insights
- Analyse information for opportunities to improve management practices including reviewing current and emerging trends
- Produce high-quality insightful reports on financial risk exposure, and relating those back to underlying business drivers
- Consolidation and analysis of information from a variety of internal and external sources and identify risk exposure across the business
- Identify synergies, efficiencies and improvements in the assessment and reporting process
- Automation of dashboard reports and driving towards an online, data-centric distribution model that facilitates user-driven investigation and analysis
- Working with the IT team, develop and implementing management analysis and decision-making tools such as key performance and risk indicators, credit scorecard models, business plan and financial modelling scenario analysis
To be successful with this opportunity, you will ideally have experience in the following areas:
- Tertiary qualification in a statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, econometrics or statistics
- Proficient in tools such as SQL, Power BI, R and Python
- Experience working with Azure DevOps a bonus
- Strong understanding of IFRS 9 concepts
- Knowledge or a genuine interest in credit risk modelling a distinct advantage
- The ability to see the big picture as well as drill down to the finer detail
