Reporting directly to the Department Head, you will be responsible for providing leadership & direction to a team of 11 staff across operations & settlements. This will also include:
- Ensuring transactions are settled in a timely manner and that payments to external parties are approved.
- Overseeing cash operations and operational support duties such as uploading of applications, supplier accreditation and contract management.
- Assessing workflow and identifying priority tasks.
- Mentor, coach and provide ongoing training to staff. Motivate and inspire staff to achieve their KPI’s & company deliverables and manage escalated matters.
- Conduct reporting and distribute to internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements.
To be successful with this opportunity, you must have experience in the following areas and possess the below personal qualities:
- Degree qualified in Business, Economics, Accounting or a related degree is highly regarded.
- Min 3 years experience working in the commercial finance space.
- Min 3 years experience working in a leadership capacity within financial services.
- Passionate and dedicated people leader.
- Strong problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to implement processes & procedures to eliminate future risk.
