Initial steps

A few things to get started

Setting up a credit facility limit

  • Confirm your anticipated spend: we will review your expected equipment expenditure for the next 12 months
  • Submit financial statements: your company’s financials for the last 2 years will be required for assessment. This is only required if it is not available through external or public sources
  • Approval & agreement: once your credit facility limit is approved, we will issue you with a Master Rental Agreement.

Executing the Master Rental Agreement (MRA)

The MRA is the primary contract governing the terms and conditions of your equipment finance transactions with Vestone Capital.

 

  • Customisation: the MRA will be tailored to reflect the assets being financed and the agreed borrowing term
  • Authorised signatories: you can nominate authorised signatories who will have the authority to execute transactions under the MRA
  • Future transactions: once the MRA is signed, all future transactions will be documented on a Rental Schedule and can be executed electronically via DocuSign
  • Dedicated support: you will supported by a dedicated Client Manager and Relationship Manager throughout the process

Supplier accreditation

  • Choosing suppliers: you can source assets from any supplier of your choice – whether from our extensive network or a local business you prefer (subject to supplier accreditation)
  • Supplier network: we work with over 1,400 technology suppliers across Australia
  • Accrediting new suppliers: for suppliers new to Vestone Capital, we handle the accreditation process. Required documents include a sample invoice from the supplier, a recent 3-month bank statement, and an Equifax Company Check. We will work directly with the supplier to complete their accreditation

Settlements process

What we will need from you

Supplier quote

  • Provide us with your supplier’s quote
  • We will issue you a funding quote based on the information provided

Supplier purchase order

  • Once our funding quote is accepted, raise a purchase order with your supplier

Supplier tax invoice

  • We will provide a Vendor Authorisation Letter (VAL) to your supplier with invoicing instructions
  • Once you have received your equipment, have your supplier send us a tax invoice

Rental Schedule documentation via DocuSign

  • We will prepare your Rental Schedule documentation and send it to you for electronic signature online via DocuSign.

Payment to the supplier

  • Upon receipt of the signed documentation, we will settle all documents and make payment to your supplier

Commencement of lease contract

  • Your equipment lease contract will commence, and billing will begin on a monthly or quarterly basis, as selected by you

End of lease term options

Choose to return or keep the assets

30 days reminder from us

30 days before the end of lease term, we will notify you of your available options.

Return the equipment (applicable for Operating Leases/Rental)

Return the assets through our remarketing partner at the end of lease term. Details are provided below in the ‘Equipment return process’ section

Purchase equipment

You may choose to purchase the equipment from Vestone Capital at its Fair Market Value, as determined by us.

Extension

Continue leasing the equipment on a casual basis or opt for a fixed term lease extension, which may give you access to discounted lease payments.

Returning the equipment

If you decide to return the leased equipment:

 

  • We will provide return instructions for our remarketing partner’s warehouse and a Notice of Intent to Return Form
  • You can arrange for the equipment delivery or request for collection services from us (available at a cost)
  • The assets will be securely data wiped by our remarketing partner
  • The condition of the equipment will be assessed
  • Contract will be terminated and billing will cease
