Recap: One Tree at a Time
Greenfleet is a leading not-for-profit environmental organisation that supports native ecosystem restoration and environmental outcomes through native reforestation projects. Established over 25 years ago, Greenfleet is Australia’s first carbon offset provider dedicated towards planting native biodiverse forests to capture carbon emissions and help fight the impacts of climate change.
Since 1997, Greenfleet has planted over 10 million trees across 500 forests in Australia and New Zealand. As they grow, these forests absorb carbon, improve soil and water quality, and restore habitat for native wildlife, including many endangered species.
Vestone Capital plants 2000 trees
Through its collaboration with Greenfleet, Vestone Capital has contributed to the planting of almost 2000 trees at the Ngulambarra reforestation site, a notable stride in our sustainability mission. These trees will be protected for 100 years to ensure that they can grow to their full potential and provide environmental benefits to the region for decades to come.
This collaborative effort with Greenfleet is not just about planting trees but about revitalising ecosystems. The chosen species are native, which ensures a higher survival rate and a more efficient carbon sink.
