Vestone Capital, in partnership with IT asset recycling specialist Renew IT, has donated 11 refurbished laptops to Meals with Impact, a social enterprise empowering women from migrant and refugee communities through employment, skills training and connection.
The donated laptops will be used to build digital literacy and confidence among women who often face reduced access to technology and training. These devices will support participants in developing essential computer skills – helping bridge the digital divide and unlock new opportunities.
This donation forms part of Vestone Capital’s broader commitment to the circular economy and social impact, ensuring end-of-lease equipment is given a meaningful second life.
“By working with trusted community organisations like Meals with Impact, we’re proud to support both environmental and social sustainability outcomes,” said Leah Baker, Head of Enterprise, Education and Healthcare at Vestone Capital. “It’s about extending the life of technology in ways that genuinely benefit people and communities.”

“These laptops are already making a real difference for our participants as they build skills and confidence for work and life,” [Nikki Blanch – Programs & Social Impact Manager] “Many only have access to mobile phones, so having a full laptop screen makes it much easier to complete admin tasks and access onboarding systems.
We’ve also used the devices to help participants apply for jobs, set up SEEK profiles, and develop resumes — building both digital literacy and independence. We’re incredibly grateful to Vestone Capital and Renew IT for this generous support.”
The partnership with Renew IT ensures all donated equipment is securely data-wiped, refurbished, and ready for immediate use — giving organisations like Meals with Impact access to reliable technology without the cost barrier.
This initiative adds to a growing list of community donations facilitated by Vestone Capital and Renew IT, reinforcing the power of collaboration between business, recyclers and social enterprises to create lasting positive change.
At Vestone Capital, we’re proud to support practical, community-driven initiatives like this that promote digital inclusion, education, and empowerment.
